Fair Go casino Apple Pay deposits start at $20, and Fair Go's banking page lists Apple Pay as free and instant (checked 7 October 2026). If you already tap your iPhone at the supermarket, you're most of the way there: the card in your Wallet pays the casino, and Face ID or Touch ID approves it. What Apple Pay won't do is receive winnings, because it isn't on Fair Go's withdrawal list. Plan your way out before you pay in.
What Apple Pay needs on your iPhone
- A card in Wallet. Open the Wallet app, tap the plus button and follow the prompts to add a debit or credit card. Your bank may text you a code to confirm it.
- Face ID or Touch ID, plus a passcode. Apple Pay won't run without a passcode on the phone, and that lock is also what stops anyone else depositing from your pocket.
- Safari, ideally. Apple Pay on the web is most dependable in Safari. If the option doesn't appear in another browser, open the site in Safari instead.
- A bank that allows it. Most cards you can tap in a shop will work online too, but your bank decides whether it approves a payment to a casino.
Using an iPad? Apple Pay works there as well, with Touch ID or Face ID depending on the model. Our iPad and tablet guide covers the bigger-screen layout.
How to make a Fair Go casino Apple Pay deposit
- Open Safari, type the Fair Go address yourself and log in. Our iPhone guide covers making a home-screen icon so you don't need to type it every time.
- Tap Cashier and choose Apple Pay from the deposit options.
- Enter an amount of $20 or more.
- If you want a bonus, add the code as the promotion describes. New players can use WELCOME.
- Tap the Apple Pay button. A payment sheet slides up from the bottom of the screen.
- Check the card and the amount on that sheet. This is your last chance to change either.
- Double-click the side button and glance at the phone for Face ID, or rest your finger on the Home button for Touch ID.
- Wait for Done, then check that your Fair Go balance has updated before you start a game.
Why iPhone players use Apple Pay at Fair Go
The appeal is mostly about what you don't have to do. There's no card number to type with your thumbs, no expiry date to dig out, and no card details saved in the casino's cashier. Apple says your actual card number isn't shared with merchants when you pay with Apple Pay, which limits what a merchant could leak. Approval happens on your own device, with your face or fingerprint, so a stolen password alone can't spend your money.
Your bank's app usually shows the payment within moments, which helps you keep a running total. Many banks also show recent Apple Pay purchases inside Wallet, so you can tap the card and see what's gone out.
The flip side is speed. Apple Pay removes nearly all the friction from depositing, and friction is often what stops a quick top-up turning into three. Keep reading for ways to put some back.
Apple Pay button missing or payment declined?
No Apple Pay option in the cashier?
Switch to Safari, update iOS, and check that Wallet holds at least one card. A page opened inside a social or messaging app often can't show Apple Pay at all.
Payment not completed?
Your bank may block gambling or overseas merchants. If you set up that block yourself, leave it on. If not, your bank can tell you why it declined.
Face ID not recognising you?
Use your passcode when the phone offers it, or cancel and start again. Sunglasses and bright light can trip Face ID up.
Sheet froze or timed out?
Check your bank app before trying again. If the money left your account, don't pay a second time; contact support instead.
Paid, but no balance?
Screenshot the Wallet transaction and the time, then contact Fair Go's live chat. Our mobile live chat guide shows how to reach it from your phone.
Cashing out after an Apple Pay deposit
Fair Go lists three withdrawal methods, and Apple Pay isn't one of them:
- Withdrawal methods
- Bitcoin (free), eZeeWallet (free), Wire Transfer ($50 fee); $100–$2,500 per transfer Verified
- Before your first payout
- Processed within 2 business days of the request; account verification required first Verified
So an Apple Pay player needs a second route ready for winnings. eZeeWallet and Bitcoin are listed as free; a wire transfer costs $50. Set your choice up early, and get your ID checked before you need it. Our guides to withdrawing on mobile and verifying your ID with your phone walk through both.
Apple Pay and your gambling budget
Because Apple Pay is so quick, it's worth adding a speed bump of your own. Many Australian banks let you block gambling transactions from inside their app, and that block covers Apple Pay too, because the payment still runs through your card. Screen Time can cap how long you spend in Safari, with a passcode held by someone you trust. Our guide to phone gambling limits has the exact steps.

Can I withdraw my winnings to Apple Pay?
No. Fair Go lists Bitcoin, eZeeWallet and wire transfer for withdrawals. Apple Pay is deposit only, so set up one of those before you need it.
Does Apple Pay work in Chrome on iPhone?

Can I use Apple Pay with the welcome bonus?
The welcome offer is 100% up to $200, redeem 5 times with code WELCOME. Nothing we've seen excludes Apple Pay, but check the promotion's terms in the cashier before you pay.

It keeps your card number off the casino's page and needs your face, fingerprint or passcode to approve. It can't protect you from a fake site, though, so always type the address yourself.
